Join us in the fight against breast cancer

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every year organizations, charities and individuals around the world do their best to raise awareness of a disease that will affect 1 in 8 women in their lifetime.

Everyone knows someone whose life and family has been touched by this illness. Yet thanks to the amazing work of campaigns which focus on educating women on the importance of regular checks and early diagnosis, as well as tireless research into new treatment, breast cancer survivor rates have been growing since 1989.

Step by step everyone’s efforts are making a difference in the lives of women around the world and we want to take this opportunity to play our part in this journey. Research suggests 8 out of 10 breast cancer cases can be prevented – that is truly amazing news so we’ve put together links to some of the most useful information we’ve found on breast cancer. Please, please please check out the link to the Breast Self-Exam Shower Card – a great easy to follow guide to turning your shower into your breast’s best friend!

Also, during October breganwood.com is giving 15% from all purchases to The Breast Cancer Charities of America whose Help Now Fund offers vital financial support to women and their families when cancer strikes. So that’s just one more reason to feel good this month.
